Founder · Principal · Operator
Marcos Do Olival is a senior technology and operations executive who helps leadership teams turn complexity into clear priorities, disciplined execution, and measurable business value.
The executive
Across more than two decades, Marcos has worked where technology, operations, and organizational change meet. His career has taken him from Brazil to Switzerland and the United States, with leadership responsibility spanning North America, Latin America, Europe, and 21 Latin American markets.
At Nestlé, he led enterprise transformation, ERP, operating-model, and integration work in complex, multi-country environments. At Kyndryl, he led large-scale technology operations and software governance. Today, through Sankaku Advisory, he serves as a Fractional CIO and enterprise transformation leader for PE-backed and mid-market organizations—including hands-on leadership with Fermented Food Holdings.
That path shaped a practical conviction: technology creates value only when it is connected to a real business problem, understood by the people who must use it, and carried through to execution.
AI enablement
Marcos approaches AI as an operating capability, not a technology demonstration. He begins by identifying where decisions stall, where knowledge is trapped, and where people lose time to fragmented processes.
From there, he aligns leadership, data, governance, process design, and adoption around a defined business outcome. The aim is not more AI. It is better work, better decisions, and durable capability inside the organization.
How he leads
Make the situation understandable, the tradeoffs visible, and the next decision explicit.
Give teams the structure, air cover, and practical support they need to make progress.
Leave behind stronger leaders, better operating discipline, and systems the organization can sustain.
Beyond the boardroom
Marcos is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and professor. The practice has reinforced qualities that also shape his leadership: remain composed under pressure, respect the person across from you, adapt without losing purpose, and keep learning regardless of rank.
He does not see martial arts as a metaphor for winning at work. Its deeper lesson is humility: progress comes from preparation, honest feedback, repetition, and the willingness to become uncomfortable enough to improve.
Perspective
Marcos brings an international perspective while staying grounded in the realities of the business, the plant, the team, and the decision in front of him.
